Eleuterio Betadur kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Rumaldo in the 15th minute of play forced Mono Naranja's goalkeeper Apolo Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Ivan Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Marcial Rumaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mono Naranja's Apolo Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Mono Naranja's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Abascal came free, but Apolo Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Cordairo in the 42nd minute of play forced Mono Naranja's goalkeeper Apolo Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute German Ishmael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Cordairo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Arocena booed when Mono Naranja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Perrando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Apolo Batista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Rumaldo in the 66th minute. Mono Naranja's Apolo Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Cordairo in the 68th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Arocena's Ivan Cordairo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Apolo Batista. Apolo Batista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 84th minute, Paulino Perrando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaston Etxeberri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Ovidio Blasco's late challenge caught a Arocena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Blasco helped the player get up and apologised. Ovidio Blasco hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Marcial Rumaldo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Mono Naranja's Apolo Batista. Apolo Batista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Arocena walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
