Pablo Arnau came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Alberdi de América's Ivica Olić. But to his dismay, Ivica Olić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Alberdi de América made a substitution. Severiano Jurdan replaced Aleksander Majczyk. A collision led to Alberdi FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Venancio Furman hit a great ball. Pablo Arnau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivica Olić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Alberdi FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arnulfo Bihar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Pablo Arnau managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Alberdi de América's Arnulfo Bihar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 24 minutes, Arnulfo Bihar made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alberdi FC's Pablo Arnau tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cosme Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Ivica Olić dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pablo Arnau, 6-0. Ivica Olić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Pablo Arnau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arnulfo Bihar came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Alberdi de América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Bihar couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Ivica Olić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Arnau was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Bihar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Arnau. Alberdi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Bihar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After 41 played minutes Alberdi FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Santiago. 42 minutes into the match, Alberdi FC's goalkeeper Pablo Arnau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Bihar. In the 42nd minute, Alberdi de América's Arnulfo Bihar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pablo Arnau. Pablo Arnau yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-0. 46 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Bihar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pablo Arnau, 9-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivica Olić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Bihar in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Arnau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivica Olić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Alberdi FC's zone, Arnulfo Bihar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Arnau came out of the goal and Arnulfo Bihar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Alberdi de América fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Alberdi de América's Ivica Olić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ivica Olić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivica Olić in the 70th minute of play forced Alberdi FC's goalkeeper Pablo Arnau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes, Arnulfo Bihar made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alberdi FC's Pablo Arnau tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 14-0 when Ivica Olić sped through Alberdi FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pablo Arnau. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alberdi FC's goalkeeper Pablo Arnau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Bihar in the 88th minute of play forced Alberdi FC's goalkeeper Pablo Arnau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Arnau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo Bihar's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Ivica Olić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivica Olić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Pablo Arnau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Arnau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivica Olić in the 96th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivica Olić in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Arnau saved Alberdi FC from getting behind.
