With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Fernanco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venancio Evarado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 minutes of play, Ayacucho's Miguel Remicio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Fernanco was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Miguel Remicio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Fernanco was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. They were losing 0-6.

With a little luck, Cascadas FC's Francisco Fernanco got control of the ball when Salvador Domeka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cascadas FC's Teofilo Nicholas got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Fernanco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. After 85 minutes of play, Cascadas FC's Edgard Fernandes made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nemesio Urdin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cecilio Osmundo charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Osmundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cecilio Osmundo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Francisco Fernanco was a little too slow when Miguel Remicio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-10. In the 91st minute Anibal Herensuge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Fernanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Remicio in the 92nd minute. In the 96th match minute, Ayacucho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Salvino to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Zacarias Acevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cascadas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Acevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Urdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ayacucho played a much better game than Cascadas FC and deserved their victory. The Cascadas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
