Alberdi FC's Pablo Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Pasqual in the 8th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Paulin during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicolas Paulin hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Elvio Santiago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Gonzalez Catan FC's Eriberto Abel got a free kick in the 18th minute. Elvio Misael struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Elvio Misael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Pablo Arnau made a huge save. If Isidro Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Misael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Arnau having to make a save. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 53rd play minutes Cosme Frasco shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Jimeno Laffitte and just under the crossbar into goal. Elvio Misael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Pablo Arnau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Arnau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Pasqual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Alberdi FC's Marcial Fagildo got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Eloy Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Arnau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Misael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzalez Catan FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
