That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Maximo Fagildo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Melincué FC's Freddy Nofre. Freddy Nofre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Freddy Nofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Domeka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gaudencio Domeka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maximo Fagildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute, Denis Sidro made a precise shot to the right of Freddy Nofre. Melincué FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Maximo Fagildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Nofre having to interfere. When Maximo Fagildo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Babolat Campana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Fagildo couldn't finish the play. If Denis Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Fagildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Freddy Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilio Bingen to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Melincué FC's goalkeeper Freddy Nofre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximo Fagildo. Benjamin Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Bingen in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Beti in the 55th minute of play forced Babolat Campana FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Oinatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Nofre was a little too slow when Gaudencio Domeka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 61st match minute, Melincué FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Beti to maneuver through the defense. Babolat Campana FC's Benjamin Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Bingen in the 64th minute of play. Maximo Fagildo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Nofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Emilio Bingen scored 2-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Oinatz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaudencio Domeka kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Freddy Nofre. That made the score 2-4 in the 72 minute of play. When Elvio Fagildo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melincué FC's protests and gave Elvio Fagildo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Melincué FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Elvio Fagildo hit a great ball. Benjamin Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Bingen in the 79th minute of play. Benjamin Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Beti in the 80th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Sidro in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Nofre saved Melincué FC from getting behind. Maximo Fagildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Nofre having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Melincué FC's zone, Maximo Fagildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Nofre came out of the goal and Maximo Fagildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Babolat Campana FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
