When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Nereo Elodio sped through Babolat Campana FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamin Oinatz. A collision led to Babolat Campana FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tadeo Gaur hit a great ball. Los Cachorros's Jari Litmanen got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Valentin Ovando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 35 minutes of play, Los Cachorros's Jari Litmanen made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 95th minute Anacleto Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Oinatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Babolat Campana FC booed when Los Cachorros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Flor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 98 played minutes Los Cachorros got a freekick which was hit by Raul Hanni. Damaso Arixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Gaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. When the final whistle sounded Los Cachorros left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Babolat Campana FC.
