Progresso's Siro Venceslao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Jerrald in the 5th minute of play. Francisco Jerrald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Siro Venceslao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Progresso's zone, Tanek Ziemniak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Venceslao came out of the goal and Tanek Ziemniak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Francisco Jerrald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Progresso's Siro Venceslao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francisco Jerrald took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Venceslao. Siro Venceslao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Progresso's Zacarias Cordeiro got a free kick in the 19th minute. Siro Venceslao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Ziemniak in the 25th minute of play. Siro Venceslao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Jerrald, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Siro Venceslao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Beradze in the 27th minute of play. The corner ended in Filipe Beradze almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Progresso's Siro Venceslao did a great save. The Troncos for ever FC fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Troncos for ever FC's Francisco Jerrald looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 43rd minute, Francisco Jerrald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Jerrald was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Francisco Jerrald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Venceslao. Progresso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Jerrald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Siro Venceslao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Jerralds short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Siro Venceslao to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Siro Venceslao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Ziemniak in the 76th minute of the match. Francisco Jerrald scored 0-12 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Siro Venceslao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Siro Venceslao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute, Troncos for ever FC's Melchor Pirro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Siro Venceslao. Siro Venceslao yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-16.
