Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mario Isusko started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rafael Piarres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siro Venceslao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Mario Isusko sped through Progresso's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Siro Venceslao. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Mario Isusko put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Siro Venceslao. If Mario Isusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Cordeiro hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Carolo Frasquito hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Rafael Piarres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Venceslao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. If Mario Isusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Isusko in the 38th minute of play forced Progresso's goalkeeper Siro Venceslao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Rafael Piarres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Mario Isusko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentino de Buenos Aires's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Isusko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Venceslao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaston Ondino to make the kick off. Mario Isusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Venceslao having to interfere. Claudio Bartuelo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Progresso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ismael Ixona in the 66th minute. After taking down the ball on Progresso's corner Ismael Ixona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ulryk Bugajski quite easily take care of the ball. Mario Isusko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Progresso booed when Argentino de Buenos Aires was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Marcones didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Santiago Illart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leonides Ixona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Argentino de Buenos Aires's Mario Isusko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Siro Venceslao. Siro Venceslao yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Siro Venceslao stood somewhat misplaced when Mario Isusko came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 80 minute. Rafael Piarres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Venceslao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Argentino de Buenos Aires's Ulryk Bugajski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Illart in the 93rd minute of play. Argentino de Buenos Aires's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
