An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Lizbeth in the 39th minute of play forced Soda Stereo FC Unplugged's goalkeeper Orlando Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Romano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evangelista Redondo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 52 minutes, Delmiro Lleir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soda Stereo FC Unplugged's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Lleir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Soda Stereo FC Unplugged booed when Calchaca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadim Ulutay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soda Stereo FC Unplugged's Orlando Iratzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evangelista Redondo in the 93rd minute of play. Silvano Lehen charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvano Lehen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Calchaca FC played a much better game than Soda Stereo FC Unplugged and deserved their victory. The Soda Stereo FC Unplugged players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
