An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Beremundo in the 19th minute of play forced Sarandí AFC's goalkeeper Eriberto Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Viedma FC's Marcelino Ritchie got a free kick in the 21st minute. Haroldo Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Joachim in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Viedma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Gabon came free, but Haroldo Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Ekialde to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ernesto Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ernesto Joachim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarandí AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Joachim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Hernando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the game, Marcelino Ritchie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viedma FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarandí AFC the free kick. Marcelino Ritchie hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Ernesto Joachim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Viedma FC's zone, Santiago Ruy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Hernando came out of the goal and Santiago Ruy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jonas Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Jonas Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Ekialde, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Santiago Ruy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haroldo Hernando having to make a save.
