The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 26th minute, Fandi Santosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Arias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Mikolas's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Fandi Santosa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Heli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind pelasur's goalkeeper Jose Arias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdo Negri to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaudencio Bermudo made in the 56th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Valdo Negri immediately put the ball in play. 57 minutes into the match, Maracanaso F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Negri came free, but Enrique Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Aresti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Aresti in the 64th minute of play. Ermegildo Bernabel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Enrique Heli made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Enzo Ihazintu took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Enrique Heli to make any attempt to save it. Teobaldo Mikolas kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jose Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Tercero in the 85th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Maracanaso F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Domaradzki to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Iztal in the 97th minute of play forced Maracanaso F.C's goalkeeper Enrique Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
