Fernan Gregory scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidio Oto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Blasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Oto. OLYMPIACOS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Blasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Tallia in the 11th minute of play. Haroldo Etxahun kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Santos Lazcano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Isidro Sadurni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Santos Lazcano in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isidro Sadurni, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 26th minute Danilo Lico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Etxahun. In the 27th match minute, OLYMPIACOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Rumaldo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Benjamin Chabier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Chabier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Oto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Aaron Tallia made a precise shot to the right of Ovidio Oto. OLYMPIACOS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 36 played minutes Florida FC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Tallia. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Andres Mateo put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in OLYMPIACOS FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Florida FC a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benjamin Chabier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto. 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Lazcano to make the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Danilo Lico got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ovidio Oto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elpidio Brais during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to OLYMPIACOS FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Elpidio Brais hit a great ball. Haroldo Etxahun charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 62nd match minute, OLYMPIACOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Etxahun to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in OLYMPIACOS FC's zone, Aaron Tallia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Oto came out of the goal and Aaron Tallia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Aaron Tallia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto got control of the ball when Fernan Gregory tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Florida FC's Fernan Gregory ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovidio Oto. Ovidio Oto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. After 71 played minutes Florida FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Gregory. Florida FC's Isidro Sadurni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Lazcano in the 73rd minute of play. OLYMPIACOS FC's Florencio Jacob suffered a concussion in the 73rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Aaron Tallia's late challenge caught a OLYMPIACOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Tallia helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron Tallia kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ovidio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Tallia, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Jayvier Laredo fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Florida FC's protests and gave Jayvier Laredo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, Jayvier Laredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Florida FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Florida FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
