Enrique Neto hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Carolo Egoi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Victoriano Ihazintu firmly grabbed it by the left post. 17 minutes into the match, Asociacion Pràsino Dalton's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Santiago came free, but Victoriano Ihazintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The El Paso fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when El Paso's Remigio Santiago looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuel Gizon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victoriano Ihazintu. That made the score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigio Santiago in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Ihazintu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute Remigio Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Ihazintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Dubardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Victoriano Ihazintu made a huge save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloy Bemabe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the referee ended the match the El Paso players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
