Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rodrigo Nevada kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Zhivko Ivanchov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Nordal charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Nordal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Puan Devils getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Michael Nordal hit a great ball. Rodrigo Nevada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Erauso having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Puan Devils's goalkeeper Higinio Erauso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Oro. In the last second Higinio Erauso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rodrigo Nevada in the 19thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Higinio Erauso made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Adolfo Oroitz sent off a good shot on target. Gaudencio Casado hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sumamao getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Natalio Cristofor hit a great ball. Benedicto Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhivko Ivanchov in the 39th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zhivko Ivanchov to make the kick off. The Sumamao fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Sumamao's Rodrigo Nevada looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 60th minute Rodrigo Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sumamao were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Puan Devils's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicasio Dino took the corner. Puan Devils's Higinio Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Oroitz in the 64th minute of play. When Emiliano Garaile fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puan Devils's protests and gave Emiliano Garaile a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sumamao booed when Puan Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Garaile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Puan Devils's Higinio Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Sasoin in the 67th minute of play. Puan Devils made a substitution. Sergio Baumar replaced Gaudencio Casado. If Zhivko Ivanchov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Sasoin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Erauso having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Oroitz in the 78th minute of play forced Puan Devils's goalkeeper Higinio Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Puan Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Nevada came free, but Higinio Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Oroitz in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Erauso saved Puan Devils from getting behind. Higinio Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Sasoin in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergio Sasoin in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Erauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Higinio Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Cristofor in the 88th minute of the match. Higinio Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Puan Devils's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
