Sumamao's Benedicto Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Valerio in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind nuevedocedieciocho's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Mirowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When nuevedocedieciocho's Amado Ramone in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nicasio Dino was slow to take the kick. During this time Sumamao's players had a chance to rest. In the 26th minute Baldomero Valerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rodrigo Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sumamao's Sergio Sasoin got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Baldomero Valerio came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the nuevedocedieciocho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Valerio couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rik Hello during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes nuevedocedieciocho got a freekick which was hit by Rik Hello. 38 minutes into the match, nuevedocedieciocho's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Mirowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Oroitz. The crowd rose to their feet as Sumamao's Adolfo Oroitz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wladyslaw Mirowski. That made the score 1-1 after 40 minutes of play. Benedicto Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Valerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Zachary Kissel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rodrigo Nevada came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Sumamao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Nevada couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Nevada in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wladyslaw Mirowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sumamao's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicasio Dino in the 65th minute. Rodrigo Nevada struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Wladyslaw Mirowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sumamao. After a defensive mix-up in Sumamao's zone, Amado Ramone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Ramos came out of the goal and Amado Ramone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Baldomero Valerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sumamao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Baldomero Valerio scored to the left of an out of position Benedicto Ramos, making the score, 1-2. Benedicto Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amado Ramone in the 81st minute. If Rodrigo Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Baldomero Valerio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benedicto Ramos. Baldomero Valerio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Benedicto Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Valerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Amado Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Macario kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Baldomero Valerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Ramos having to interfere. Amado Ramone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. nuevedocedieciocho walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
