The Gallinas fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Liher should have stopped the shot. Fernando Echeverría received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabio Liher came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Echeverría slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 19th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Cirilo Maidana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Liher. Gallinas fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cirilo Maidana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind TATA FC's goalkeeper Jairo Amaya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Gallinas fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cirilo Maidana fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fernando Echeverría struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Fabio Liher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TATA FC. After 37 minutes of play, TATA FC's Cirilo Maidana made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Liher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Aimar in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Amaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Maidana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Liher was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Aldo Farias hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Gallinas fc's Fabio Liher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Gallinas fc from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirilo Maidana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gallinas fc getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Aldo Farias hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gallinas fc's zone, Fernando Echeverría stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Liher came out of the goal and Fernando Echeverría tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 53 minutes into the game, TATA FC's Jimeno Guillerme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Liher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The supporters of TATA FC booed when Gallinas fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Urtsua didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Gallinas fc's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Guillerme came free, but Fabio Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batu Vatansever took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Liher. Fabio Liher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After 66 minutes of play, TATA FC's Fernando Echeverría made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Liher was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st match minute, Gallinas fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Silvino to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Liher came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by TATA FC's Fernando Echeverría. But to his dismay, Fernando Echeverría quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. After 79 minutes, Cirilo Maidana made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gallinas fc's Fabio Liher tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Maidana in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Liher saved Gallinas fc from getting behind. TATA FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
