After 4 played minutes Marchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Birger Lilja. After having played for 9 minutes, Jesus Isusko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marchu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Isusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Marchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan-Junior Giggs came free, but Aurelio Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Toribio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aurelio Mergildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pes Horna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Lilja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Birger Lilja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pes Horna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match, 林卫适 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pes Horna was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 32nd minute of the match Marchu FC got a corner. EL CARTERO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Göran Hedin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that 叶凡亦 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pes Horna quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 34 minutes into the match, EL CARTERO's goalkeeper Pes Horna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 林卫适. Feliberto Romero hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If 林卫适 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Marchu FC's zone, Bonifacio Toribio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Mergildo came out of the goal and Bonifacio Toribio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, EL CARTERO's Bonifacio Toribio got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 林卫适 to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Birger Lilja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marchu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Birger Lilja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pes Horna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelio Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Toribio, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ryan-Junior Giggs kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Birger Lilja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. In the 80th minute, Cui Jian Guo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 82 minutes, 林卫适 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marchu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 林卫适 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ryan-Junior Giggs fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL CARTERO's protests and gave Ryan-Junior Giggs a yellow card for diving instead. Pes Horna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 林卫适, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 94 minutes, 林卫适 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marchu FC and the EL CARTERO players grew even worse after the yellow card. 林卫适 hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded EL CARTERO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Marchu FC.
