When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Godfredo Sasoin sped through CA River Plate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clodoveo Ihintza. When the match was over Sp. Yoniyones could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CA River Plate throughout the match.
