The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luciano Erramu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopoldo Florin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antoine Saïd-Guerni's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Leopoldo Florin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Erramu in the 10th minute of play. Leopoldo Florin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zeno Pfützner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Antoine Saïd-Guerni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esther's Leopoldo Florin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zeno Pfützner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Florin having to interfere. Emanuel Corderun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Cordarell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Lamberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Lukitas F.C.'s Luciano Erramu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Florin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Zeno Pfützner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Florin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Cordarell in the 40th minute of play. Antoine Saïd-Guerni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Antoine Saïd-Guerni reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopoldo Florin. The goal made the score 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antoine Saïd-Guerni made a kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Zeno Pfützner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Leopoldo Florin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Lukitas F.C.'s Antoine Saïd-Guerni in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zeno Pfützner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Florin having to interfere. A collision led to Lukitas F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jatsu Padura hit a great ball. With a little luck, Lukitas F.C.'s Emanuel Corderun got control of the ball when Lorenzo Cordarell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Cordarell in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Esther defense, Zeno Pfützner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Florin. The Esther fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Florin should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Lukitas F.C. were the better team. Lukitas F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
