The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Cornelio Mede shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Helge Hedström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 5th minute of the match BERGAMOTA GIGANTE FC got a corner. Sportivo Sernova's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cornelio Mede ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 11th minute, Teo Rolado made a precise shot to the right of Helge Hedström. Sportivo Sernova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Cornelio Mede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Inocencio Egoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes Sportivo Sernova got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Rummens. After 30 played minutes Jonatan Cesario rounded BERGAMOTA GIGANTE FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 41st minute, Jonatan Cesario fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 44th match minute, Sportivo Sernova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Rummens to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Helge Hedström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Horado kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Siro Goi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BERGAMOTA GIGANTE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Sernova the free kick. Sportivo Sernova's Helge Hedström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Sernova from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Ernest Rummens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornelio Mede received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Helge Hedström came out and tried to block the shot, but Cornelio Mede slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Inocencio Egoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Sernova's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Egoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaw Cichewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaw Cichewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Egoi in the 93rd minute of play. Helge Hedström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Saul Sagrario. BERGAMOTA GIGANTE FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
