With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Lluc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rosario Central's Emiliano Bizi got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dalmacio Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, JUVENTUS AZ's Wilfredo Abaunza got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when JUVENTUS AZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Santxol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th match minute, JUVENTUS AZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Santxol to maneuver through the defense. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing JUVENTUS AZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
