An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Mikeldi in the 24th minute of play forced Capillitas's goalkeeper Christian Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudio Ovando kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Salvador Dominix. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 31st minute Nicolas Sendoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Bakar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Mikeldi in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Bakar saved Capillitas from getting behind. After 62 minutes of play Capillitas's Claudio Elizardo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Claudio Elizardo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Capillitas's zone, Bernabe Mikelar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Bakar came out of the goal and Bernabe Mikelar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Adan Sasoin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Vitricidas's Nicolas Sendoa got a free kick in the 70th minute. Hernan Mikeldi charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Capillitas's Fabio Ricart got a free kick in the 86th minute. Christian Bakar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernan Mikeldi in the 92nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vitricidas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Capillitas.
