After some careless play in the Petyuam defense, Cecilio Benvide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustacio Piorno. The Petyuam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustacio Piorno should have stopped the shot. Jonas Ranolfo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Petyuam got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Lluc. Rocco FC's Cecilio Benvide got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Rocco FC booed when Petyuam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Gartzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Piorno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Benvide in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Petyuam's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gualterio Peruanton was slow to take the kick. During this time Rocco FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Albano Luix managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 39th minute, Gualterio Peruanton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rocco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Benvide in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustacio Piorno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Albano Luix came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Rocco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Luix couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Guillelme to make the kick off. If Nunez Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Jesus Lluc sped through Rocco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artemio Luke. After a defensive mix-up in Petyuam's zone, Venancio Guillelme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustacio Piorno came out of the goal and Venancio Guillelme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Gartzi charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Gartzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Hugo Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecilio Benvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Piorno having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Lázaro Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Benvide in the 69th minute of play forced Petyuam's goalkeeper Eustacio Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Petyuam's Eustacio Piorno got control of the ball when Venancio Guillelme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustacio Piorno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Benvide, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Claudio Vergaray kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Albano Luix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Piorno having to interfere. Petyuam's Eustacio Piorno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Benvide in the 85th minute of play. Claudio Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Venancio Guillelme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Ranolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
