Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Garaona Angeles made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Ricardo Hegoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mendoneu's Fausto Ferrando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mendoneu's zone, Emiliano Bizi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Ferrando came out of the goal and Emiliano Bizi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mendoneu's Fausto Ferrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Gartzea in the 8th minute of play. Fausto Ferrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Bizi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Rosario Central's Emiliano Bizi in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mendoneu's goalie prevented a goal. After 10 minutes, Emanuel Bitxintxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mendoneu and the Rosario Central players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Emanuel Bitxintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Silverio Gartzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Ferrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Ferrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Gartzea in the 23rd minute of the match. Silverio Gartzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Ferrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Hegoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Ricardo Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Ferrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Ferrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Gartzea in the 31st minute of the match. Fausto Ferrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Bizi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garaona Angeles during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Garaona Angeles kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Fausto Ferrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Bizi in the 38th minute of the match. Fausto Ferrando came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario Central's Emiliano Bizi. But to his dismay, Emiliano Bizi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emiliano Bizi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Hegoi got free with Fausto Ferrando in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the match, Mendoneu's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Bizi came free, but Fausto Ferrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Gartzea in the 57th minute of play forced Mendoneu's goalkeeper Fausto Ferrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Mendoneu's Garaona Angeles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elvio Lluc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Constantino Efren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mendoneu the free kick. After 74 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Efren. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Mendoneu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Almqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mendoneu's Fausto Ferrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Bizi in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Gartzea got free with Fausto Ferrando in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Rosario Central defense, Cosme Horado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Lluc. The Rosario Central fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Lluc should have stopped the shot. Fausto Ferrando made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ricardo Hegoi sent off a good shot on target.
