Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnulfo Vigil started the match with the kick off. Samuel Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Laurgain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Americo Cortez could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Melquiades Maldonado however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Americo Cortez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melquiades Maldonado. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Palmitas's Samuel Enetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Elia in the 9th minute of play. Eliseo Elia took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Enetz. Samuel Enetz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Laurgain in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Enetz saved Palmitas from getting behind. Samuel Enetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Elia in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Eliseo Elia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ostendi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 21st minute, Arnulfo Vigil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Americo Cortez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Melquiades Maldonado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Palmitas defense, Eliseo Elia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Enetz. The Palmitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Enetz should have stopped the shot. After 34 minutes, Osvaldo Ramirez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmitas and the Ostendi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ostendi's Alexsandro Nóbrega was substituted for Silvestre Giro. Samuel Enetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Elia in the 38th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseo Elia made a kick off. A nice corner shot did that Márcio Schmidt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Samuel Enetz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Fabio Laurgain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Enetz was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Laurgain in the 59th minute of play forced Palmitas's goalkeeper Samuel Enetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Ostendi's Fabio Laurgain ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Enetz. Samuel Enetz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. Fabio Laurgain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Enetz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Eliseo Elia lined in a short shot 2-6 behind a frustrated Samuel Enetz. Eliseo Elia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Samuel Enetz made a huge save. 72 minutes into the game, Fabio Laurgain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-7. Samuel Enetz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Palmitas getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Benicio Niva hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ostendi's Márcio Schmidt tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Santiago Solari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Palmitas's zone, Eliseo Elia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Enetz came out of the goal and Eliseo Elia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Laurgain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Laurgain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ostendi's Fabio Laurgain pulled a muscle in his leg after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Romeo Santiago charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Santiago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Romeo Santiago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ostendi's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
