After having played for 36 minutes, Fabio Laurgain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ostendi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Laurgain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseo Elia to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuel Bakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Ostendi's Eliseo Elia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicasio Tome narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliciano Quintyn during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A well-hit corner resulted in Eliseo Elia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. There was no doubt that Ostendi were the better team. Ostendi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
