Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alfonso Bazkoare made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the game, Lanus's Ángel Labruna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvaro Ospetsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Leheren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Ospetsu was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. With a little luck, Lanus's Gaston Chuan got control of the ball when Alfonso Bazkoare tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvaro Ospetsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Leheren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Ángel Labruna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Ospetsu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rodeo FC's Alvaro Ospetsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Leheren in the 18th minute of play. Gaston Chuan made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Alfonso Bazkoare sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Rodeo FC's Eustacio Enmanuel got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Ángel Labruna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Ospetsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Fermin Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Mergildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvaro Ospetsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Leheren, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ángel Labruna in the 30th minute of play forced Rodeo FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Ospetsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Lanus got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Edwardo. The supporters of Lanus booed when Rodeo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Ofelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ángel Labruna in the 34th minute of play forced Rodeo FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Ospetsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Chuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Bazkoare in the 39th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Lanus's Ángel Labruna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Ospetsu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Rodeo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lanus were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Leheren to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Leheren got free with Alvaro Ospetsu in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the game, Ángel Labruna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alvaro Ospetsu. Ángel Labruna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Alvaro Ospetsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Edwardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Rodeo FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Ospetsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ángel Labruna. After 71 minutes of play, Lanus's Rodolfo Leheren made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvaro Ospetsu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the game, Fermin Mergildo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Alvaro Ospetsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the game, Cipriano Edwardo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alvaro Ospetsu. Cipriano Edwardo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Rodeo FC's Alvaro Ospetsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Rodeo FC from getting a goal against them. Ángel Labruna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alvaro Ospetsu came out and tried to block the shot, but Ángel Labruna slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 82nd minute. Alvaro Ospetsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Leheren in the 85th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Lanus got a freekick which was hit by Kristen Kronstad. Eustaquio Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Ángel Labruna fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanus's protests and gave Ángel Labruna a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rodeo FC booed when Lanus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ángel Labruna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaston Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Bazkoare in the 93rd minute of play.
