Fermin Lizer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Leheren in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Lanus's Rodolfo Leheren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Leheren in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fermin Lizer saved Elisa AFC from getting behind. Fermin Lizer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ángel Labruna went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Fermin Lizer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Edwardo in the 20th minute of the match. Lanus's Cipriano Edwardo managed to work through Elisa AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cipriano Edwardo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The supporters of Lanus booed when Elisa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Edorta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Rodolfo Leheren sped through Elisa AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fermin Lizer. A collision led to Elisa AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ambrosio Seguinus hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Leheren got free with Fermin Lizer in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fermin Lizer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Leheren, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With a little luck, Elisa AFC's Fermin Lizer got control of the ball when Ángel Labruna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodolfo Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Lizer having to interfere. In the 37th minute Cipriano Edwardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Lizer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Elisa AFC's Fermin Lizer got control of the ball when Rodolfo Leheren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lanus's Ángel Labruna got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Ángel Labruna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fermin Lizer was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ángel Labruna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fermin Lizer having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolfo Leheren was the one to do the kick off. Lanus's Rodolfo Leheren got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Leheren took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fermin Lizer. Fermin Lizer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The supporters of Elisa AFC booed when Lanus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Mano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Fermin Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanus's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Mergildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Lizer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Leheren scored 6-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fermin Lizer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fermin Lizer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Malbec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Christian Abeijon fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elisa AFC's protests and gave Christian Abeijon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Elisa AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Christian Abeijon hit a great ball. Fermin Lizer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ángel Labruna in the 71st minute of the match. Lanus's Teobaldo Santiago was substituted for Tomás Malbec. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elisa AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kristen Kronstad was slow to take the kick. During this time Lanus's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Ángel Labruna managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 74 minutes into the match, Elisa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Leheren came free, but Fermin Lizer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogelio Pancho during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Elisa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Pancho. Robinho Meireles hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ángel Labruna's late challenge caught a Elisa AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ángel Labruna helped the player get up and apologised. Fermin Lizer came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanus's Rodolfo Leheren. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Leheren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When Fermin Mergildo came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Lanus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Mergildo couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Rodolfo Leheren made a precise shot to the right of Fermin Lizer. Elisa AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Fermin Lizer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Leheren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lanus's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
