The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute Nicanor Gipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Ganix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes, Ovidio Eufrasio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xente FC and the SopinkIYCerebro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Ovidio Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicanor Gipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Ganix having to interfere. If Placido Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Gipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Adrian Ganix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SopinkIYCerebro. Clemente Cebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Halim Kader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match Xente FC got a corner. SopinkIYCerebro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Melchor Marin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Clemente Cebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Cebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halim Kader breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Placido Mikelats ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Ganix was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 38th minute Clemente Cebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halim Kader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicanor Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as SopinkIYCerebro's Nicanor Gipuzkoa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adrian Ganix. That made the score 4-0 after 47 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Placido Mikelats was the one to do the kick off. If Placido Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 minutes of play, SopinkIYCerebro's Placido Mikelats made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Ganix was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Xente FC booed when SopinkIYCerebro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Sustrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Melchor Marin in the 66th minute really tested Halim Kader's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Melchor Marin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halim Kader read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Torsten Johnsson charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torsten Johnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, SopinkIYCerebro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Johnsson to maneuver through the defense. Berkant Nezir hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. SopinkIYCerebro's Feliciano Sustrai got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Feliciano Sustrai off the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of SopinkIYCerebro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Xente FC:s goal. Melchor Marin shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Nemesio Damario kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Placido Mikelats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Ganix having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Placido Mikelats made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Ganix. Xente FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. When Celso Froila fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xente FC's protests and gave Celso Froila a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Cebo in the 92nd minute of play forced SopinkIYCerebro's goalkeeper Halim Kader to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Placido Mikelats managed to get in a good position for a shot. SopinkIYCerebro's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Mikelats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Ganix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Placido Mikelats took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Ganix. Adrian Ganix dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Xente FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
