The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Futsal Regatas Mendoza booed when Ybarlucea F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Ortzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steven De Keuster took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermegildo Orain. Ermegildo Orain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Steven De Keuster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ermegildo Orain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Steven De Keuster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Orain came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ybarlucea F.C.'s Steven De Keuster. But to his dismay, Steven De Keuster quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Futsal Regatas Mendoza getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Mauro Benvido hit a great ball. Ermegildo Orain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Berg in the 33rd minute of the match. Markus Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes Futsal Regatas Mendoza got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Benvido. In the 38th minute, Markus Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eustaquio Eliazar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Florentino Eutor came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustaquio Eliazar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Futsal Regatas Mendoza's zone, Alberto Olmedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Orain came out of the goal and Alberto Olmedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Futsal Regatas Mendoza players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ybarlucea F.C. were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steven De Keuster to strike the kick off in the second half. With 52 minutes on the clock, Lisandro Olivar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Futsal Regatas Mendoza:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ybarlucea F.C.:s goal. In the 59th match minute, Futsal Regatas Mendoza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Oroitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Gonzalo Oroitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Marcelino Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markus Berg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ermegildo Orain having to make a save. In the 72nd minute, Ybarlucea F.C.'s Markus Berg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ermegildo Orain. Ermegildo Orain yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. A collision led to Ybarlucea F.C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Hipolito Loiola hit a great ball. When Fernando Eutor came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ybarlucea F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Eutor couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Fernando Eutor took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Ermegildo Orain to make any attempt to save it. In the 91st minute, Hipolito Loiola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermegildo Orain was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. In the 95th minute, Gonzalo Oroitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Steven De Keuster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ybarlucea F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
