Paulino Quilino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Philippe-Arnaud Theijs skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 43rd minute, Paulino Quilino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Trilí made a substitution. Aureliano Precioso replaced Isidro Dubardo. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The tension between the Pegan y pegamos and the Trilí players grew even worse after the yellow card.
