Edelmiro Brun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Gumaro went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Isaac Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Barea having to interfere. Gaston Bermudo charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Senillosa's zone, Isaac Bidari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Barea came out of the goal and Isaac Bidari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Enzo Tello made the kick off in the second half. Senillosa's Lázaro Silbestre got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Matagusanos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Cibran came free, but Edelmiro Brun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Isaac Bidari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matagusanos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Edelmiro Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Cibran in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Senillosa's Domingos Cibran got a free kick in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Matagusanos AFC's Enzo Tello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lázaro Barea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. If Lázaro Silbestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Brun having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
