Tupungata's Felix Uncheşu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Tupungata from getting a goal against them. Felix Uncheşu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enzo Tello's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 19 minutes, Edelmiro Ovando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tupungata and the Matagusanos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tupungata getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Edelmiro Ovando hit a great ball. Enzo Tello in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felix Uncheşu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 23 played minutes Matagusanos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Seber. Rene Hodei charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Hodei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rene Hodei kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Ubaldo Pepillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edelmiro Brun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Suero in the 34th minute of the match. Edelmiro Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emmanuel De Boel in the 35th minute of play. Enzo Tellos short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Felix Uncheşu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Tupungata's zone, Enzo Tello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Uncheşu came out of the goal and Enzo Tello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute Aníbal Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Uncheşu stood somewhat misplaced when Enzo Tello came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 44 minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enzo Tello to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Anastasio Regis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matagusanos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Rene Hodei was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. The supporters of Tupungata booed when Matagusanos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Hodei didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Matagusanos AFC's Victorino Baumer got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Tupungata's Aníbal Xavier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edelmiro Brun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Tupungata's Cirilo Frans got a free kick in the 90th minute. Aníbal Xavier hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Emmanuel De Boel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Matagusanos AFC had won after a very even match.
