Diego Cordarryl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Estudiantes de La Plata booed when Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Bastiaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gervasio Playo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's zone, Florentino Rodas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Cordarryl came out of the goal and Florentino Rodas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Cordarryl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Bilintx, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Diego Cordarryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Marko in the 32nd minute of play. Diego Cordarryl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Marko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's Diego Cordarryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Marko in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Filomeno Marko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de La Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Marko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Cordarryl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute Carmine Di Paola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Cordarryl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Marko in the 40th minute of the match. If Marcos Bilintx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diego Cordarryl was a little too slow when Filomeno Marko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-4. Filomeno Marko might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Cordarryl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filomeno Marko ran back to his position shaking his head. Diego Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Marko in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Filomeno Marko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diego Cordarryl. The goal made the score 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rony Rustikov got free with Diego Cordarryl in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rony Rustikov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Diego Cordarryl when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 96th minute Severiano Bastiaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Súľovský saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Sergio Ignado hit a great ball. The Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Estudiantes de La Plata were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
