Monigotes were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guillermo Escobar took the corner. Monigotes's Guillermo Escobar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Diego Cordarryl in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 34 minutes, Norberto Remir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monigotes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Remir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Miguel FC-S.M. del Monte's Gervasio Playo got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 48th minute, Banban McJohnny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Diego Cordarryl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Estebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Diego Cordarryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Estebe in the 81st minute of play. Silvestre Kemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. When Igor Estebe came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Monigotes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Estebe couldn't finish the play.
