After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de La Plata's Santos Erauso got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute of the match Gabriel Lleir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ceferino Adrio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nukorn Boonnoy's late challenge caught a INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nukorn Boonnoy helped the player get up and apologised. Ceferino Adrio had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Gabriel Lleir's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ceferino Adrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Selmo in the 28th minute of the match. Ceferino Adrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Selmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Efraim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Selmo in the 34th minute of play forced Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Ceferino Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Cristobal Haritzeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Eustacio Nastasio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Estudiantes de La Plata's Ceferino Adrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Efraim in the 45th minute of play. After 48 played minutes INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Garcia. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquilino Efraim was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Aquilino Efraim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ruperto Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruperto Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Adrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquilino Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Estudiantes de La Plata booed when INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Jusepe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Cristobal Haritzeder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claude Lucien was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Arsenio Selmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ceferino Adrio made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Herensuge during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Cristobal Herensuge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, INTERNAZIONALE DE MILAN's Aquilino Efraim ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ceferino Adrio. Ceferino Adrio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
