Roberto Feliu struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Americo Fernado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO. After some careless play in the LIONS defense, Roberto Feliu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Americo Fernado. The LIONS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Fernado should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mebarek El-Hadi in the 8th minute of play forced LIONS's goalkeeper Americo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Americo Fernado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Feliu in the 9th minute of the match. LIONS's Americo Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mebarek El-Hadi in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO's Mebarek El-Hadi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Americo Fernado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mebarek El-Hadi in the 15th minute of play forced LIONS's goalkeeper Americo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Mebarek El-Hadi put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Americo Fernado. 19 minutes into the game, PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO's Mebarek El-Hadi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 23rd minute, Florencio Geofredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Fernado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Mebarek El-Hadi scored 0-6 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Americo Fernado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Feliu came free, but Americo Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Americo Fernado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mebarek El-Hadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Americo Fernado came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO's Mebarek El-Hadi. But to his dismay, Mebarek El-Hadi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Americo Fernado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mebarek El-Hadi in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Roberto Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Americo Fernado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Quiroga in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fulvio Guerra to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO booed when LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute, Mebarek El-Hadi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. After having played for 55 minutes, Roberto Feliu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Feliu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO's Roberto Feliu got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Americo Fernado was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Heath Lachapelle capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Heath Lachapelle really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. In the 61st minute, Florencio Geofredo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Americo Fernado. The goal made the score 0-11. Mebarek El-Hadi scored 0-12 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Americo Fernado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Mebarek El-Hadi sped through LIONS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Americo Fernado. Roberto Feliu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Mebarek El-Hadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mebarek El-Hadi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Americo Fernado firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, LIONS's Americo Fernado got control of the ball when Mebarek El-Hadi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Americo Fernado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Pasqual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Roberto Feliu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Americo Fernado. LIONS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Feliu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-15. Mebarek El-Hadi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Americo Fernado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Mebarek El-Hadi put it in 0-16 from a short distance just to the right of Americo Fernado. PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO played a much better game than LIONS and deserved their victory. The LIONS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
