The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Maldonado got free with Americo Fernado in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Milian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Americo Fernado. Ermegildo Milian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. A collision led to Oklalomas City Thunder getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Lázaro Bertran hit a great ball. After some careless play in the LIONS defense, Ermegildo Milian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Americo Fernado. The LIONS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Fernado should have stopped the shot. With his leg Americo Fernado managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Oklalomas City Thunder's Ambrosio Maldonado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fulvio Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Americo Fernado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Belarmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LIONS's Americo Fernado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save LIONS from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Ermegildo Milian reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Americo Fernado. The goal made the score 5-0. Augusto Romelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Guerra in the 34th minute of play. Ambrosio Maldonado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Americo Fernado made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Oklalomas City Thunder's Americo Fernado threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ermegildo Milian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 40thth minute of the game Fulvio Guerra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oklalomas City Thunder's Augusto Romelio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Maldonado in the 43rd minute of play forced LIONS's goalkeeper Americo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, LIONS's goalkeeper Americo Fernado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Maldonado. Americo Fernado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Milian in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Oklalomas City Thunder's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulvio Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. LIONS's Americo Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Maldonado in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Fulvio Guerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-2. Augusto Romelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Maldonado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-2. Americo Fernado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Americo Fernado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
