The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Frederico got free with Nicolas Txema in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timoteo Elodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Odilon in the 25th minute of the match. When Luisito Odilon came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the defensivo f.c fans jumped to their feet. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Pelotillehue Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Elia came free, but Timoteo Elodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio Turi made a kick off. Braulio Frederico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute.
