After a defensive mix-up in Henderson FC.'s zone, Amos Pasquale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Montez came out of the goal and Amos Pasquale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th match minute, quka23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Bero to maneuver through the defense. Silverio Kelemen hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amos Pasquale to make the kick off. When Antonio Ondino came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the quka23 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Ondino couldn't finish the play. Henderson FC.'s Maximino Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Pasquale in the 54th minute of play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind quka23's goalkeeper Ismael Lucian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
