An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Pasqual in the 12th minute of play forced Patronato's goalkeeper Jairo Orixe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, EL DIEGO's Juan Riquelme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jairo Orixe. Jairo Orixe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Patronato's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Juan Riquelme scored to the left of an out of position Jairo Orixe, making the score, 2-0. Florentino Ereinotz took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Orixe. Jairo Orixe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A well-hit corner resulted in Juan Riquelme heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jairo Orixe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Pasqual, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to EL DIEGO getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Severiano Pasqual hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Jairo Orixe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jairo Orixe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Pasqual, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Geert-Jan Oosters took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Orixe. Jairo Orixe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Severiano Pasqual took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Jairo Orixe to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geert-Jan Oosters was the one to do the kick off. Jairo Orixe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geert-Jan Oosters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Orixe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geert-Jan Oosters's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Jairo Orixe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Pasqual, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The EL DIEGO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. In the 74th match minute, Patronato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Fix to maneuver through the defense. If Anier Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Orixe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Ereinotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Jairo Orixe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geert-Jan Oosters went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. But to his dismay, Florentino Ereinotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. 89 minutes into the match, Patronato's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Monte came free, but Jairo Orixe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Orixe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geert-Jan Oosters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Beturian in the 93rd minute of play forced Patronato's goalkeeper Jairo Orixe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EL DIEGO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
