An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Bidun in the 4th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Nunez Fanuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Calvino scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nunez Fanuco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the match, River Plate's goalkeeper Nunez Fanuco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Calvino. With a little luck, River Plate's Nunez Fanuco got control of the ball when Hermengildo Gonzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 played minutes Angastaco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Nesor. Paulino Casado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Abelardo Pere had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Romo. Angastaco AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Pere was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermengildo Gonzo got free with Nunez Fanuco in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. River Plate's Nunez Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Isidor in the 27th minute of play. River Plate were furious when Celso Gabrio was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for River Plate! In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Angastaco AFC. Modesto Oinatz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nunez Fanuco. 2-1. A collision led to Angastaco AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Evaristo Nesor hit a great ball. Abelardo Pere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Angastaco AFC's zone, Matias Feliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Romo came out of the goal and Matias Feliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When River Plate's Mauro Urko in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Angastaco AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Bidun to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Julian Bidun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Nunez Fanuco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Angastaco AFC's Gustavo Romo got control of the ball when Mauro Urko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermengildo Mino hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, Natalio Farias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angastaco AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Natalio Farias got a free kick in the 60th minute. Nunez Fanuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Calvino in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Angastaco AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Hermengildo Mino hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, River Plate's Natalio Farias tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Abelardo Pere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Romo having to interfere. Angastaco AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Mauro Urko scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo Romo, making the score, 2-2. In the 74th minute, Abelardo Pere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Romo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Urko went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. If Abelardo Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Angastaco AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abelardo Pere fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nunez Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Bidun in the 90th minute of the match.
