With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Canor in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Gabirel saved Ranquile from getting behind. Ranquile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Cloyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Ranquile players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saint Black AFC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roman Canor made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Cloyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ranquile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint Black AFC the free kick. Roman Canor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Rodolfo Gabirel made a huge save. Saint Black AFC's Miguel Cutberto got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzalo Cloyo might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaltino Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonzalo Cloyo ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Everardo Feliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Gonzalo Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Saint Black AFC's Roman Canor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodolfo Gabirel. That made the score 1-3 after 76 minutes of play. Epifanio Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Gabirel having to interfere.
