Modesto Rey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Lazcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Cangallo FC's Modesto Rey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Cangallo FC from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the game, El Rejunte De WIlde's Hector Bracamonte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Modesto Rey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gerardo Lazcano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Gerardo Lazcano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Rejunte De WIlde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Benigno Precioso struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Modesto Rey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Rejunte De WIlde. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Gerardo Lazcano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Cangallo FC's Nereo Seguinus got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Cangallo FC's Modesto Rey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Cangallo FC from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Hipolito Ospin made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Cangallo FC defense, Hector Bracamonte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Rey. The Cangallo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Rey should have stopped the shot. Hector Bracamonte struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Modesto Rey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Rejunte De WIlde. Modesto Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Lazcano in the 60th minute of the match. Hector Bracamonte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modesto Rey having to make a save. After 69 minutes, Gerardo Lazcano made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cangallo FC's Modesto Rey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Hector Bracamonte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Gerardo Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Bracamonte in the 79th minute of play forced Cangallo FC's goalkeeper Modesto Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes of play, El Rejunte De WIlde's Hector Bracamonte made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Rey was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Hector Bracamonte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Rejunte De WIlde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. Modesto Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Lazcano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 10-1 when Hector Bracamonte sped through Cangallo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Modesto Rey. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Bracamonte in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Rey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Hector Bracamonte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the El Rejunte De WIlde players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
