Ramiro Rencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guaberto Lizardi struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Ramiro Rencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garruchos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Verna in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Rencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Verna in the 24th minute of play forced Obrero Dique de Barda's goalkeeper Ramiro Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Rencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Verna's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Blas Refugio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Federico Verna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Rencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes, Tadeo Chumo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Obrero Dique de Barda and the Garruchos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Federico Verna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Obrero Dique de Barda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garruchos were winning 0-1.

In the 67th minute, Blas Refugio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severiano Lawrence was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. During the 78th minute of the match Tadeo Chumo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tadeo Chumo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Obrero Dique de Barda getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Tadeo Chumo hit a great ball. Blas Refugio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Severiano Lawrence tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Palben kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Obrero Dique de Barda's Ramiro Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Almendra in the 89th minute of play.
