In the 8th minute, Gu Yuan Rong made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Bernat. Singlar club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 12th minute, Vicente Ruy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Blasi in the 13th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Leonardo Derwin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Singlar club's Clemente Bernat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Johannes Tveito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alumbrera 's Elvio Elorri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Singlar club booed when Alumbrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Unai didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Jimeno Satordi in the 19th minute really tested Elvio Elorri's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 21st minute, Jimeno Satordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Singlar club's Clemente Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Unai in the 24th minute of play. Gustavo Blasi was slow to take the kick. During this time Alumbrera 's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gustavo Blasi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clemente Bernat quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Castulo got free with Elvio Elorri in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clemente Bernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Derwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Gu Yuan Rong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Gu Yuan Rong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Bernat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Urtsin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gogo Derwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Clemente Bernat made a huge save. Elvio Elorri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Castulo in the 59th minute of play. Clemente Bernat came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Alumbrera 's Leonardo Derwin. But to his dismay, Leonardo Derwin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Nestor Muno was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alumbrera ! Braulio Castulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo Unai might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Bernat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasmo Unai ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 74 minutes, Gu Yuan Rong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alumbrera 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gu Yuan Rong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Singlar club getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Angelino Refugio hit a great ball. Gu Yuan Rong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Bernat having to interfere. A collision led to Alumbrera getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Leonardo Derwin hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Braulio Castulo put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Elvio Elorri. Braulio Castulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Elorri having to interfere. Dionisio Orland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Elvio Elorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Gustavo Blasi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alumbrera 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Singlar club the free kick. After 89 played minutes Alumbrera got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Blasi.
