Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Paikín AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Bento came free, but Mauro Gorosti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Paikín AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Leoiar to maneuver through the defense. Saverio Afonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Banegas having to interfere. Isidoro Orlondon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Gorosti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Bento in the 38th minute of play. Saverio Afonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Ponc got free with Severiano Banegas in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Bento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Gorosti having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Orlondon was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Paikín AFC's Mauro Gorosti got control of the ball when Elias Bento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Gorosti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Orlondon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Elias Bento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Gorosti was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The supporters of Los Cardales booed when Paikín AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severiano Banegas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saverio Afonso went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After 88 played minutes Los Cardales got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Cordairo. Severiano Banegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Ponc in the 89th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Los Cardales's Mauro Gorosti threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidoro Orlondon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
