Rinconadillas AFC's Federico Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Rudolfo in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Danilo Mendebal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Federico Gil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Federico Gil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Montrell was the one to do the kick off. Rinconadillas AFC's Federico Gil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Rinconadillas AFC from getting a goal against them. Wofgang Kopitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Venancio Bartoleme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Famatina AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
