The referee ignored Rinconadillas AFC's protests and gave Ángel Cristos a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guido Cambranes made a kick off. Alvaro Ortle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Cambranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rinconadillas AFC's goalkeeper Federico Gil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Rinconadillas AFC's Wofgang Kopitz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alvaro Ortle. That made the score 2-2 after 56 minutes of play. In the 60th minute, Carmelo Beturian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moreno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Guido Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Ortle having to interfere. In the 67th minute Anier Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Gil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
