The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With 5 minutes on the clock, Mauro Barto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los del sur F. C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, La Mansión's Israel Barto got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mariano Frascuelo. In the 10th minute Sven-Ove Kämpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Frascuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Los del sur F. C's goalkeeper Mariano Frascuelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Papo. If Donato Eladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Eladio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Medardo having to interfere. 28 minutes in the game, Donato Eladio dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to La Mansión getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Edgar Maidsaar hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Los del sur F. C were awarded a corner. Eusebio Umbruso went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 35th minute of the match, Sven-Ove Kämpe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mariano Frascuelo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, La Mansión's Mariano Frascuelo threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sven-Ove Kämpe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mariano Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Kämpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 44 minutes in the game, Sven-Ove Kämpe fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mariano Frascuelo having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Los del sur F. C got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Puja. In the 46th minute, Sven-Ove Kämpe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Mansión fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Donato Eladio made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Kämpe in the 52nd minute of play forced Los del sur F. C's goalkeeper Mariano Frascuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes La Mansión got a freekick which was hit by Armando Gabirel. Donato Eladio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Cipriano Medardo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 64 minutes, Sven-Ove Kämpe made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Los del sur F. C's Mariano Frascuelo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the game, Israel Barto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Mariano Frascuelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th match minute, Los del sur F. C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Filipo to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Medardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Eladio in the 79th minute. Sven-Ove Kämpe might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mariano Frascuelo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Ove Kämpe ran back to his position shaking his head. Cipriano Medardo made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Donato Eladio sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the La Mansión defense, Donato Eladio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Medardo. The La Mansión fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Medardo should have stopped the shot. When Donato Eladio came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Los del sur F. C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Eladio couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Los del sur F. C's Haroldo Filipo got a free kick in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los del sur F. C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Mansión.
